Please be sure to initial the behavior chart in their daily folder each day so that
I know you are aware of the choices your child is making.
The main focus of my behavior management plan is for my students to make great choices! Based on the choices your child makes, he/she can move their clip up or down during the day. This gives your child the opportunity to correct their behavior by making good choices throughout the day. Each day, all students will start their day on green (Ready to Learn). If they make good choices throughout the day, they may move their clip up to blue (Good Choices), purple (Great Job), or pink (Super Student). Super Student is the highest level, meaning your child made some GREAT choices throughout the day! If your child makes poor choices, they may move their clip from green to yellow (Think about it), orange (Teacher’s Choice), and possibly red (Parent Contact). If your child is on yellow, orange, or red, they may have to face a consequence, such as losing a privilege or receiving a minor referral. If your child is on red at the end of the day and did not make an effort to make better choices, they will receive an office referral.
